What more do you want in a cozy story than a story about two mice working to protect the children living at their house from an evil school teacher and pirate rats. This is wholesome, sweet, and will warm your heart, no matter your age.
5. Wintering by Katherine May
Though many people have a hard time during the winter season when it's cold with little sunshine and not a lot of things to look forward to, there are often other times when there's a bit of a winter in the soul. James Norbury, who also wrote Big Panda and Tiny Dragon and The Journey once again offers a beautifully illustrated book that will give you wisdom and maybe help you find some peace. This is another one that you can read a few pages at a time or sit and read all at once. It's your journey. You decide.

Anything Alice Oseman writes is sure to give you all the feels and warm your heart.
