Color Therapy Horses and Healing with Charla Miller and Laurie Buchanan

Wednesday, November 15, 2017 - 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Charla Miller and Laurie Buchanan share their expertise and experiences with emotional healing. This event offers new perspectives and ideas about how we interact with our thoughts and emotions.

About Charla Miller:

I’ve engaged in many types of therapies for my emotional healing but it wasn’t until I met an equine therapist and her herd of horses that my life really changed in profound ways. I’m able to be in the moment much more easily, my brain and heart rate is calmer and I have far more clarity. All of these symptoms are immediate and usually last throughout my day.

In equine therapy there is a tremendous opportunity to build trust with them and myself. The size of a horse can be daunting but being in their presence gives me a feeling of love and acceptance. It’s a reciprocal experience like none other.
About Laurie Buchanan:

Color is visible energy; it’s the only energy we can actually see. Color is the reaction of our eyes and brain to different frequencies of light. The colors we wear and surround ourselves with stimulate the way we think and feel, and the way our body’s organs, glands, and systems function.

That’s where color therapy—treatment with the appropriate color—comes in. An integrative therapy that complements mainstream medical care, we can use color to stimulate or inhibit the functioning of different parts of our body; to restore balance and normal functioning.
