Half the World Book Release Event

We are thrilled to host author, Todd Shallat at the bookstore to celebrate the release of Half the World:  Refugees Transform the City of Trees.

Neary one out of every 100 people worldwide is a displaced person seeking asylum, imperiled by famine and war. Half the World takes measure of that staggering crisis in stories from a city transformed. A study of courage and contest over fundamental humanitarian values, the book is volume 8 in a prize-winning Boise State University series about the urban-rural dynamics of metropolitan growth.
