What was a book that you read on a recommendation from someone else that you wouldn't have picked up otherwise?
The Paris Seamstress by Natasha Lester. I loved the fashion industry aspect.
Favorite reading spot?
My little green couch with a mug of tea and lamplight.
Book you re-read every year?
Year of Yes by Shonda Rhimes and How to be You by Jeffrey Marsh.
Favorite part about working at the store?
How many things there are to love! The sense of community and putting just the right book into someone's hands.
Do you have any good author stories?
Over the summer, I tweeted a picture of Erin Hahn's You'd Be Mine while at the Western Collective. She and her editor both retweeted AND replied. The book features country music singers, so it was a perfect fit.
How did you come to Rediscovered Books?
I've loved the store since childhood and I'm honestly a little surprised that I didn't get here sooner. My book-loving soul is living a dream!
What is something unique to you that you would like people to know?
In High School, I once had a local news segment published about me that featured me being a powerlifter and published poet!
