National Novel Writing Month
“Write a short story that is set in Argentina in 1932, in which a teacup plays a crucial role.”
This could be the start of your own novel. It comes from 642 Things to Write About by the San Francisco Writers’ Grotto, one of my favorite sources for writing ideas. Writing is an art form that connects with so many people, and being a creator is an important part of living a happy life.
November is National Novel Writing Month. Would you try to write 50,000 words in 30 days? There is no need to be perfect, just to keep on writing. It's a great challenge, and even if you only write 50 words more than you otherwise would have I think you win. There is a lot of encouragement, community, and fun in the NaNo world, and I hope you give it a try.
